Challenge
QC operators had to inspect every screw by eye — fatigue let small defects slip through: incomplete threads, marks on the head, slightly off-spec dimensions. OEM customers were rejecting whole lots.
Our Solution
Two vision stations on the line — the first images top and bottom angles to inspect the head and threads, the second measures length and diameter. Defects detected on either are blown off the conveyor by an air-reject mechanism.
